Helsinki Comics Festival

The 26th Helsinki Comics Festival took place last weekend and I managed to stop by on Friday.

Gryfalcon

I’m swamped but I wanted to share a Gryfalcon pin-up I did months ago when I bumped into that interesting character on Dino’s blog.  As far as I know, the pin-up ended up as a variant cover for Sky Watcher # 1 published by Red Leaf Comics.

I’m happy to share with you some character sketches of my new project The Sons of Liberty III – Join or Die, written by Alexander and Joseph Lagos.

These are my versions of Brody and Graham, the heroes of the graphic novel series.

I had a chance to check out Jean Giraud’s exhibition “Moebius-Transe-Forme” in Paris some time ago. The exhibition was very impressive – I would have regretted if I hadn’t visited it!

Unfortunately it was forbidden to take photos inside the building…
